English language challenges

Going to university made me missed my old english lessons and talking to exchange students at school as I usually used to.
I started learning english at 7 years old and I never stopped the practice until I went to university, where my first semester was in a lack on english and others languages to learn.
Having the opportunity to take the english course this semester made me feel complete while practising english in all areas: writing, reading and talking. Although I always read some news, magazines and posts in internet that are written in this language, it was good to have again this kind of tasks of reading comprehension.
The main aspect of my english that has to be improved is speaking, I think I have some problems with the pronunciation and I also that I get a little bit nervous when I talk in this language to unknown people. I also want to learn some english related to my career, like economics or something related with plants.

Outside the english class I’m using english to speak with my boyfriend and his family, some german friends when I don’t know how something is said in their own language and also to read some magazines and blogs in internet.

Well, first I have to admit that I’m not so good at watching movies, but the kind of films that I like are the art cinema ones, like one of my favourite movies: Amelie . The first time I watched this film was when I was 6 years old and I didn’t understand much except for the good music it has. When I grew up I started to understand this cool movie, like the vision the protagonist gives to the audience, like making her close friend’s and family’s life a little bit better in an innocent way. The best holidays I've ever had

My holidays in Austria last year were amazing. I was just 17 years old and I went there with one of my best friends called Catalina. We went to Vienna, the capital city. We stayed in a youth hostel in the city center where we had a bedroom for two persons and early breakfast. In our first day we went to the Schönbrunn palace that had one of the biggest gardens I could have ever seen. We bought some tickets and we also had a tour through the palace, which was one of the first castles that installed electric light in Europe. We took some photos of the place and that day we ate some sandwiches at lunch while looking at the Karl’s church too. One day in our adventure in Austria, we went to the Prater amusement park where the Riesenrad is located. It is a wheel of fortune that is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. In those holidays I felt that I grew up a little bit having to take decisions on my own, in addition that I had a good time.

Introducing a little bit of myself, I think I was born playing video games. When I was 4 years old, I started playing some computer games at home. I used to buy some CD’s which contained  plays, where you use to match words with objects and that kind of things. I really liked playing them, although they were simple. Then, when I was 7 years old my brother received a PlayStation 1 and we used to play the games of Crash Bandicoot, specially the racing ones. Two years later, I received my first Nintendo DS lite with lots of games. I used to play Tetris , Mario Kart , Nintendogs and others. So you may know that I really like playing this video games.
